It was a cold October night, Ben and Shilo were ready to get into their elegant outfits for their engagement shoot. The idea for their shoot was inspired by Shilo’s love for the movie “A Walk in the Clouds”. The intimate candlelight setting and their love for fine wine were perfect for their photoshoot.
During dinner, Anthony and I also got a chance to know Ben and Shilo more. Shilo is in her final year in Medical school at the U of A; her soft spoken and caring personality shows through. As we got to know her more we found out about her passion for UFC and kick boxing training. Ben is a financial analyst and finishing up his CFA at the end of June.
After our tummies were filled with food and wine, we ventured outside to the city lights. Both Ben and Shilo braved the cold as we continued to capture their story.
Big thanks to our lighting chicky, Maureen, for helping us out with the shoot. You did great and didn’t turn into an icicle. :O)
