Happy Easter! We LOVE our chocolate Easter eggs, but there is something about the age of the Russian Tsars and their Fabergé eggs that is truly inspirational.We had a fantastic time creating this styled shoot, inspired by Russian Tsars & Canada’s Rocky Mountains, for Perfect Wedding Magazine with Janine of Fabloomosity, Gloria and Gunter of The Art of Cake and Jamie of River City Event.
Phalanopsis Orchids with hints of Vendala Roses and white Peony cascade over stacked ice cubes made of frosted acrylic, echoing the frozen motion of the waterfalls at Maligne Canyon. Emerging out of this floral waterfall are shoots of green; the stems of white Calla Lillies and Parrot tulips that burst from their vases in the glass globes, dipping towards the ruffled linen table cloth. The clear glass plate rimmed with silver balls show the textured table cloth below as though it were frozen. Elegant white plates trimmed in silver gives the place setting a cool, modern aesthetic which is then tied in to the cascading florals with a single white Orchid placed atop the blue & white napkins. Tea light holders rimmed with diamante detail bring a warm glow as the light refracts around the glass & acrylic and bounce off the sequinned table runner. High seat back leather chairs and accents of fur give the seating a luxurious feel.
