    A lifetime of laughter.

Could this be one of the best wedding themes ever?  It’s a statement and aspiration that perfectly embodies who Caroline + Chris are as a couple.  Their beautiful smiles swept us away while we enjoyed Montana’s great outdoors for their engagement photos.  We enjoyed a culinary tour with them, including celebrating Chris’ birthday (shhhh … he told Caroline he was a year older than her when they first met so she’d feel better)  with the Maid of Honor, Melissa Giroux and Bridesmaid Allison Hart and their significant others.  Food is a passion they both share and we enjoyed buffalo burgers at a little corner shop (if you’re traveling through Montana it’s a MUST, but get there before 2pm or your taste buds will never forgive you) and jerky at the shop next door.  We learned that Caroline likes to gamble when it comes to her food – if you bet her to eat something, she will!  That includes a stale peanut found in someone’s cubicle.  On the bright side, she now has $20 towards her wedding costs!

Embodying their love of playing Catchphrase with friends while at Chris’ uncle’s cabin, we went to Flathead lake where Caroline and Chris danced through the fields and picked flowers.  To end the day, fresh cherries as the sun set over the cherry orchard.  Bliss.  Tastebuds concur.

Caroline + Chris, we had such fun with you two.  You’re happiness is infectious and your smiles absolutely light up your surroundings.  We’ll see you in August, maybe we’ll bring the Sing Song edition of Catchphrase for the reception 😉

    Food buddies forever!

  • Jeremy + Joanne :: Wedding Teaser (Edmonton, AB)

Jeremy and Joanne (Blog)-1010Jeremy and Joanne, you two are such sweethearts. Your quirky personalities and easy-going attitudes are incredibly infectious. You guys are the perfect match for each other and it is our pleasure to have witnessed such radiant love. What touched us the most is your undivided commitment to your family and friends. Your reception banquet was no easy task as every speech for us was a tear-jerker, filled with such genuine love and emotion. (For the whole time, Rina was like *sniffle sniffle*. What’s this salty discharge dripping on my camera LCD screen :D)

Thank you so much again for welcoming us with open arms and for trusting our vision. Big Kudos to your bridal party for putting on such creative games. You guys rocked it and we can’t wait to share all your hilarious (…maybe even blackmail worthy…=D ) pictures.

We hope you enjoy your teasers as much as we love putting them together.

    xoxo

  • Featured :: Avenue Magazine Edmonton

We are delighted to be featured in Avenue Magazine‘s September issue.  The article, “Why Ordinary Won’t Do,” talks about the importance of hiring a photographer with a creative eye and how location is secondary when compared with lighting and expression when it comes to wedding photography.

“Our primary focus is capturing the emotion and connection between the couples [not just] the architecture and interior design. Good window lighting and overall ambience are key in making their wedding images magical”.

That being said, there are a lot of inspired and unconventional photo-op locations in town that can make your wedding images truly special.

  • Trisha + Jeremy :: Couples…Take your Best Shot (Edmonton, AB)

Hi folks, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all the positive feedback from our “Couples…Take your Best Shot” sessions. Since the program inception, we have had an overwhelming response from real couples in love who are thrilled to pose for unique images of themselves while we explore our artistic boundaries. Thank you again for your emails, we will be matching our remaining couples to our themes within the next couple of weeks.

For our latest creative set, it is inspired by the underground racing culture from the movie, “Fast and the Furious”, starring Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. Contrary to our natural imagery in the outdoors, we wanted to reinvent ourselves by creating a rough unorthodox style with raw images. The auto junkyard was the ideal location for the edgy urban couple. Kudos to the folks at the auto wreckers for letting us trek onto their twisted metal playground.  =)

Big thanks to Trisha and Jeremy for doing all our dirty work! Those pink heels are incredible and Jeremy you look absolutely G-Star.

    Your friends,

    ~Anthony + Rina
