    A lifetime of laughter.

Could this be one of the best wedding themes ever?  It’s a statement and aspiration that perfectly embodies who Caroline + Chris are as a couple.  Their beautiful smiles swept us away while we enjoyed Montana’s great outdoors for their engagement photos.  We enjoyed a culinary tour with them, including celebrating Chris’ birthday (shhhh … he told Caroline he was a year older than her when they first met so she’d feel better)  with the Maid of Honor, Melissa Giroux and Bridesmaid Allison Hart and their significant others.  Food is a passion they both share and we enjoyed buffalo burgers at a little corner shop (if you’re traveling through Montana it’s a MUST, but get there before 2pm or your taste buds will never forgive you) and jerky at the shop next door.  We learned that Caroline likes to gamble when it comes to her food – if you bet her to eat something, she will!  That includes a stale peanut found in someone’s cubicle.  On the bright side, she now has $20 towards her wedding costs!

Embodying their love of playing Catchphrase with friends while at Chris’ uncle’s cabin, we went to Flathead lake where Caroline and Chris danced through the fields and picked flowers.  To end the day, fresh cherries as the sun set over the cherry orchard.  Bliss.  Tastebuds concur.

Caroline + Chris, we had such fun with you two.  You’re happiness is infectious and your smiles absolutely light up your surroundings.  We’ll see you in August, maybe we’ll bring the Sing Song edition of Catchphrase for the reception 😉

    Food buddies forever!

  • Spin24 2009 – WEM Ice Palace

spin24-1We want to share some images with you guys from the 7th Annual Spin24 event at the WEM Ice Palace, organized by the Livia Stoyke Foundation. More than 500 riders from Edmonton participated in the 24 hour biking relay and raised more than $34,000 to support women & children, protect the environment, promote the arts and eradicate poverty.

To our surprise, we even got drafted into the Carbon Busters team relay for a ride. =P

Special thanks to DJ Joy One for putting together the amazing tunes and various local musicians and artists for their performances.

Much love, see you guys again next year! =)

Wanda and Lynette ==> Funniest & Craziest Wedding Planners/Designers Ever!!

We had a blast hanging out with these talented girls from Special Occasions Event Rentals, not only to talk shop but also to snap some candid images for their new company profile. Looking at these pictures bring back good laughs from that afternoon…like getting caught by security guards…impromptu snowball fights at Hawrelak Park…and even rearranging the local coffee shop over a cup of hot apple cider.

Best of luck on the upcoming wedding season and we look forward to connect with you on weddings in the near future.

Until next time….., Antonuts and Rini

  • [IS] accepted into WPJA and AGWPJA!!!

wpjaEver since we decided to pursue our passion to start our own wedding photography studio, it was always our goal to become members of the WPJA.

Rina and I are ecstatic to be accepted into the WPJA (Wedding Photojournalist Association) & the [AG]WPJA (Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association)…haha try saying that 5x over =P!! Membership into the association is by invitation only upon an extensive portfolio review, and we’re humbled to be selected to be part of this prestigous organization. There are only a handful of photographers in Alberta who are recognized for this incredible honor.

    Hmmm…..so what is the WPJA & [AG]WPJA?

The Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA), an International, membership-based organization, represents professional photographers skilled in the documentation of weddings and events in a candid, unobtrusive style. The WPJA was founded to uphold excellence in the area of wedding photojournalism.”

“The Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association [AG]WPJA , a division of WPJA, is a group of international wedding photojournalists, who capture unscripted wedding moments as they happen, and are at the forefront of the wedding industry when it comes to the art of post-production image processing.”

Simply put, we’re humbled to be standing alongside many talented world-class wedding photographers whose work we admire.  =)

    xoxo
