    Memoirs :: Infused Studios’ Visual Journal

    Hey All,

    After 9 action packed days at WPPI, Rina and I decided to chillax by spending some quality time together and walking The Strip. 18 of the world’s largest 25 hotels are located on this street in Las Vegas and it’s certainly changed since the last time my parents brought me here back in the days of Circus Circus.

    Haha being photographers and all, we thought we’d blend in with the tourists and whip out our cameras to snap a few shots of the night scene. Despite the glamour in the photos, a local taxi driver told us that business is dire compared to last year as the global recession is hitting them hard. We noticed it at the McClellan Las Vegas Airport as traffic seems to have died down.  Good for us as we can walk the Strip a lot faster this time around!  =)

    Love my Canon EF-S 10-22mm lens!! (Rina’s already giving me the “L” on her forehead). It’s by far my favourite lens to use in Las Vegas because of the sheer scale of everything. Can’t wait to be back home and share our trip with our family and friends!

    Ciao peeps!

  • Ken + Lisa :: ‘His’ E-Session (Edmonton, AB)

    Our Facebook and Twitter followers were the first to see these images released.  The visual story unfolded with minute accuracy in keeping with the storyline of the shoot.  What can happen in an hour?

    The Pursuit.

    Fashion met theatricality as we took to the shadows of downtown Edmonton for the first of a 2 part e-session with Ken + Lisa.  The concept?  The spy game is always sexy (Daniel Craig as Bond and Angelina Jolie as Mrs Smith  just made it more so) and it comes down to the right attitude and wardrobe.  Let’s face it, a spy in flannel isn’t exactly cool.  Ken is a spy on the trail of a mark, Lisa.  What Ken doesn’t know is that Lisa is also a spy.  Never Underestimate the Shadows.

  • Meezy + Sam :: Engagement (Edmonton, AB)

    Where better to ask the Bowling Queen on a date than in her bowling alley kingdom?

    How better to ask than on a night out with friends, where Sam pulled Meezy aside and wished her a Happy Birthday, and presented her with an ice cream cake.  How sweet & thoughtful!  And then he smashed the cake in her face & in her hair… but that’s Sam; goofy, fun-loving and a teddy bear at heart.

    We relived the moment that sparked their love story when we, by chance, took them to the bowling alley where it all began.    Meezy is still the Bowling Queen, proving it by beating her fiance at a game.  Sam may have form, but Meezy’s got style.

    Having lost his heart and the game to the Bowling Queen, Sam sought a rematch at the game they love most; Foosball.  Their love of Foosball is a self-described reason why they’re still together today – Sam loves to challenge Meezy’s other title; Foosball Champion of the World.  It was intense!  Both wanted to be reigning champion.  Meezy, as current title holder, wasn’t about to give Sam even the slightest advantage … she stared him down….

    For the record – Sam won! (although Meezy protests that he cheated).  Cheater or not, he charmingly tried to win her a stuffed animal before they rocked out to Guitar Hero.

    Meezy + Sam – you’re an incredibly happy couple and we loved seeing the goofy side of both of you come out.  Sam, we know you’re not a fan of public displays of affection, but when you and Meezy smile at one another it’s truly a beautiful moment and we’re ecstatic we were there to share a day out with you guys.  We crown thee both bowling royalty.

    We’re excited for your wedding & fully expect some Bhangra dance moves!  Rina will start the dancing going again by sharing her interpretation of Bhangra (commonly viewed as jumping up & down!) and making some music of her own to dance to.

    Hugs,

    A+R
