Bridal Conference 2008 – Edmonton, AB
We had a great opportunity to shoot the 2008 Bridal Conference fashion show “Derks Diamond and Divas”. This one-day event was held at Edmonton’s Northlands Agricom which featured over 100 local exhibitors. This is a good chance for brides that wants to plan their wedding early for 2009 before the rush after Xmas. If you’re going, be sure to drop by and say hi…just look for 2 little asians with Canon cameras and straps all over themselves by the stage. =)Special thanks goes out to our friend and fashion photographer, Klyment Tan.

When we first arrived at your door, little Geoffrey already captured our hearts with his playful spirit. Add Madeleine and Alex to the bunch and you get more than you bargained for in laughs and fun. Simple things like…skipping rocks by the river…rolling in the leaves…running across the bridge…all shows that you guys are a tight loving family.

We wanted to use the clock as a symbol for the theme of time, changes and the cycle of life.
We love how an image can tell a story with so much depth. Their marriage, their love, their new child and their passion for each other are all encapsulated in a single shot. This is poetic photography.

We found this dirt pile in their backyard as a backdrop for this “urban” creative.
