AHHHHHHHHHH, it’s today! That was the text message Andrew sent us at 5:20am, he was so excited! For a year, Joanne + Andrew planned their dream wedding and that text message set the tone perfectly. Excitement. Anticipation. Happiness. Even the weather was perfect (and it’s Edmonton, how often does that happen, really?)
We had a blast with Joanne + Andrew in Las Vegas for their engagement session. They’re such a creative couple and we loved their ideas for shots. It was truly an honour to be there for their intimate wedding ceremony. Held at Andrew’s parents home, less than 25 of their closest family & friends were in attendance.
Joanne + Andrew – thank you for letting us be a part of your amazing day. We had a blast at your reception & really enjoyed having the time with the two of you to do some awesome creatives! Anthony also enjoyed seeing some old friends from university 🙂
Love ya,
~Anthony + Rina
Was our first dance as husband and wife – Mr. and Mrs. Andrew and Joanne Ng. It was a moment when everything around us seemed fade into the distance and it was only the two of us in each other’s arms as our song by Lana Del Ray “Young and Beautiful” played in the background. Everything was still and perfect; the day was coming to an end and we finally had the opportunity to enjoy each other’s company and talk about how we felt and what were looking forward to as a married couple. I remember the conversation being lighthearted filled with laughter and giggles but also tears. But those tears were tears of happiness because I was starting a new life with that one person whom I could share my deepest secrets and feelings without judgement, who would put me first before himself, who will wipe away my tears, who would help me through difficult times, and who I could learn from and grow old together. Â It was the moment that defined our saying “always and forever”. – Joanne’s most memorable moment
I would, in a heartbeat, trade half my memories of the wedding day if I could recall so well, to the point of reliving, the moment I first laid eyes on Joanne on our wedding day. I remember laughing, I remember covering my mouth with my hand to stop , and most of all, I remember repeating myself over and over again, “wow…wow…wow…” Joanne looked like a celebrity, a goddess, and soon after, she was my wife. And while the rest of the day was filled with much joy and newly made memories, the most memorable one for me, was when I laid eyes on her, for what felt like the first time, all over again. She looked perfect in that moment, and even in my human, imperfect memory, the vision of her beauty that day will forever be flawless.– Andrew’s most memorable moment
