Bella + Tony are nurses in Edmonton and since the start of the Covid pandemic, they have been busy working around the clock. But back in October, they decided a road trip to Vancouver was in order to visit Tony’s family and to fill their bellies with some tasty delights. And of course, we’re always up for some tasty treats!

For the first day of their engagement session, we photographed them in a forest in the rain. Due to the pandemic combined with the rain, we had the place to ourselves. A couple of days later when the sun came through, we got a chance to photograph Bella + Tony with the sun on our backs, the smell of the ocean in our noses and the beautiful fall leaves in our view.

Bella + Tony, thank you for all you do for all of us everyday as health care workers. Thank you for allowing us to photograph your engagement session, and we look forward to your wedding day, and to Covid vaccines for all!

Love,

~Anthony + Rina

“Trying to plan for a photoshoot in Vancouver can be a little tricky because of the changing weather, but I really wanted to have the fall colors captured in our engagement photos. Whether it was rain or shine, Tony never failed to make me laugh and was willing to try new things with me, not just for photos but during our entire trip. I was reminded of how patient and supportive Tony is of me, and how thankful I was that God brought him into my life. I’m not huge fan of getting completely drenched and staying out in the pouring rain, but I had the most fun taking pictures in that weather because I had Tony with me. (He also sacrificed himself to the rain by holding the umbrella for me between pictures, so I appreciate him for that!) My favourite moment was when we were at the mini bridge at Vanier Park. For some of the photos, Tony had to do some intense squats in order to match my height while hugging me. Rina was able to capture that moment on her phone, and every time I see that photo it makes me laugh.”

“The most memorable moments during the engagement sessions are our time spent making each other laugh and smile. I love making Bella laugh as her laughter brings light into both of our worlds. The environment that Rina + Anthony chose was amazing. It highlighted exactly what Bella + I wanted; capturing our most natural moments with God’s beautiful creations.”
