Since Jessica + Eric are both doctors, they’ve no doubt had a busy year and a half, no thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic. Jessica, at one point, was even working two jobs in two different hospitals in two different cities (way to go girl!)
So when they decided they were going to get married this year, it wasn’t a hard choice to just go for it. The day of the engagement session, Jessica got her hair and makeup done in Calgary and it was a perfect trail for her upcoming wedding day.
When we met them at Rocky Mountain House, it was drizzling rain, but Jessica + Eric didn’t let the rain or the muddy terrain deter them! Plus, we had yummy snacks for them at the end thanks to Art of Cake!
Jessica + Eric, we thank you for your hard work and dedication during these challenging times, and we look forward to the day when we can enjoy your wedding day with your family.
Love,
~Rina + Anthony
“Our engagement shoot with Rina and Anthony was definitely one for the books and something I will remember forever! As a sucker for romance, the moody, misty weather set the tone for a very romantic feel. Of course, the side effect of rain was the very muddy and slippery terrain we had to trek through to get to our destination – it was exciting and totally worth it! Moseying down the trail, we had to work together to help each other get there safely – it confirmed for me that Eric is my forever partner in life through all our adventures and tribulations! At the waterfalls, even though it was a little wet and chilly, we got through it because Rina and Anthony were so good at channeling our inner “感情” and we kept each other warm from all the fun we were having! Although there were lots of memorable moments, I also really loved that Rina and Anthony brought a piece of home (Edmonton) for me ~ throughout the shoot I felt like I had a piece of Edmonton with me in Rina and Anthony, and the Art of Cake goodies at the end was the cherry on top!”

“I had a great time with the both of you, it was very easy to relax and just be myself around Jessica for the pictures! I was extremely thankful that someone (Rina) was smart enough to remember to bring wet wipes for when we both had our little tumble in the mud right at the beginning!
The rainy weather was a bit worrying but this quickly went away as we started the session. And the scenery was just beautiful, being able to walk up so close to that waterfall! I think what I will remember most are the coaching it takes to have the right pose, from standing, body position, head position, and most of all, the squatting! The pictures that we keep will be a reminder of this fun session in addition to celebrating our love!”
